|10/22/2014 ||Congratulations to Caley Warrington for finishing 4th in the Region 7 A – AA Cross Country meet. Caley qualified for the State Cross Country Meet on November 1st in Nashville. Caley is the first runner from Peabody to qualify. Alexis Patterson finished second for the girls, followed by Jada Baker, Jaycee Turner and Emily Hunt.|
Dillon Grooms led the boys, followed by Cresencio Barrientos, Zach Grooms, Ian Collins, Jeffrey Reaves, Zach Haney and Casey Collins.
|10/15/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed at the Best of the West yesterday at Obion Central. Alexis Patterson, Jacey Turner and Austin Cloyd turned in their personal best times of the year. Dylan Grooms, Zack Haney, Casey Collins and Shawn Ball also competed. Next Tuesday, the Region 7 A-AA meet will be held at Obion Central. The top 10 runners and top 3 teams advance to the State meet.|
|10/8/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed at Gibson County yesterday. Caley Warrington led the girls, medaling with a 4th overall finish and a time of 23:25 in only her second race of the year. Lauren Smith, Kala Bland, Alexis Patterson, Jada Baker, Juanita Bryson, Jacey Turner, and Emily Hunt also competed for the girls. Alexis had her 2nd best time of the year. Lauren, Kala and Jada ran in their first race of the year.|
Dylan Grooms led the boys with a time of 20:12 and his second best time of the year. Cresencio Barreientos, Timothy Fields, Ian Collins, Jeffrey Reaves, Zacary Haney, Zach Grooms, Casey Collins, Austin Cloyd, and Nathan Cole also competed. Austin recorded his best time of the year.
We have 2 meets left. October 14 is the Best of the West and October 21 is the region.

|9/24/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed at Lexington yesterday. 4 girls and 6 boys had their best times of the year. Juanita Bryson ran a 29:15, Alexis Patterson 31:54, Emily Hunt 32:20, Jaycee Turner 32:55. Tatyana Booth also competed.|
Dylan Grooms finished 18th overall and ran a time of 19:25. Timothy Fields 21:48, Zach Grooms 23:16, Zach Haney 24:01, Casey Collins 24:57, Will Cross 27:25, Shawn Ball 27:57. Nathan Cole and Austin Cloyd also competed.
|9/17/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed at Union University yesterday. Over 500 total runners were competing.|
Alexis Patterson led the girls by running a time of 32:35, improving her best time by almost 2 minutes. Emily Hunt improved her time by 2 ˝ minutes.
Dylan Grooms led the boys with a time of 20:50. Timothy Fields 22:19, Zach Grooms 23:48, Jeffrey Reaves 25:04, Mason Denton 25:19, Casey Collins 25:55, Shawn Ball 26:13, Austin Cloyd 29:36.
Next week we will run in 2 races. Tuesday is at Lexington, Thursday at Hardin County.
|9/10/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed at Huntingdon yesterday. Juanita Bryson and Alexis Patterson led the girls, both posting their best times of the year. Tatyana Booth, Emily Hunt and Jaycee Turner also ran for the girls.|
Dylan Grooms led the boys with a time of 20:44. Cresencio Barrientos ran a 21:05, Timothy Fields 22:41, Ian Collins 22:45. Zach Grooms, Zach Haney, Will Cross, Casey Collins and Austin Cloyd also ran for the boys. The next meet will be at Union University on Tuesday, September 16.
The Cross Country team competed at Crockett County yesterday. There were 28 schools competing. Caley Warrington led the girls, finishing at 11th overall. Caley received a medal for finishing in the top 20. Caley finished 4th out of the girls from our region. Juanita Bryson, Alexis Patterson, Jacey Turner and Tatyana Booth also competed and each improved their personal best times.
The boys were led by Cresencio Barrientos with a time of 21:11. Dylan Grooms, Timothy Fields, Ian Collins, Mason Denton, Zac Haney, Shawn Ball, Jeffrey Reaves, Austin Cloyd, and Nathan Cole ran for the boys.
|8/28/2014 ||Peabody hosted the Peabody Invitational on Thursday, August 28. There were 16 teams represented. The top 15 individuals and top 3 teams received awards. The Girl's overall winner was Lydia Hayes from Huntingdon. The top team was Obion Central, followed by Munford and Huntingdon. The Boy's overall winner was Jerry Rojos from Crockett County. The top team was Crockett County, followed by Jackson Christian School and Munford. Peabody girls that ran included Juanita Bryson, Alexis Patterson, Jaycee Turner, Emily Hunt and Tatyana Booth. Peabody boys included Timothy Fields, Cresencio Barrientos, Zach Grooms, Ian Collins, Jeffrey Reaves, Casey Collins, Zach Haney, Shawn Ball, Will Cross, Nathan Cole, Austin Cloyd. Peabody's next race will be Tuesday, September 2 at Crockett County|
|8/20/2014 ||The Cross Country team competed in our first meet of the year at Dresden.|
Juanita Bryson and Alexis Patterson led the girl’s team. Emily Hunt, Tatyana Booth, Karen Allen and Jacey Turner also competed.
Timothy Fields and Cresencio Barrientos led the boy’s team. Zach Grooms, Jeffrey Reeves, Ian Collins, Mason Denton, Zac Haney, Casey Collins, Will Cross, Shawn Ball and Tristan Pearson also competed.
